In the heart of Mons, the Walloon public transport company TEC has inaugurated its new office building, part of the ambitious “Au fil des Grands-Prés” project in the Les Grands-Prés district.
This development is more than just a new workplace: it represents a modern, sustainable, and long-lasting vision for the city, combining housing, offices, and local shops to create a vibrant and futureproof neighborhood.
Spanning 3.066 m², the new TEC building has been designed to meet NZEB (Nearly Zero Energy Building) standards, aligning with European targets for nearly energy-neutral construction.
Sustainability lies at the core of the project, with smart design choices ensuring reduced energy consumption, a smaller carbon footprint, and high durability.
Moreover, the office has been shaped with flexibility in mind, supporting a hybrid way of working that balances collaborative spaces with areas for focused tasks.
For this project, Beddeleem acted as total fit-out contractor, taking on the full coordination, delivery, and installation of a wide range of interior solutions:
- Modular partitions:
- 300 m² of JB PURE 100
- 40 m² of JB 4000
- 800 m² of JB 2000, including integrated whiteboards, indirect lighting, and acoustic panels
- JB WOOD Claustra
- 2,500 m² of flooring in carpet and vinyl tiles
- JB Office including JB Store and JB Lockers
- Painting works
This comprehensive approach ensured high-quality finishes, functional flexibility, and a consistent aesthetic across the entire office.
