SPW NAMUR

Client : SPW (Public service of Wallonia) Namur - Cap Sud
Architects : Assar Architects
Location : Namur
Year of completion : 2025

At Cap Sud in Namur, the General Secretariat of the Service Public de Wallonie has found a new home. What was previously spread across seven different locations is now brought together in one contemporary and futureproof workspace, located close to the railway station.

The new offices form part of a large-scale mixed-use development and were designed with clear ambitions in terms of sustainability and comfort.

The office buildings comply with NZEB and Q-ZEN standards and achieved a BREEAM “Very Good” certification.

For Beddeleem, SPW Namur represents a total fit-out project.

A striking feature of the interior design is the strong focus on acoustic comfort, achieved through tailor-made solutions from the JB ABSORB range, including project-specific free-hanging acoustic ceiling baffles.

In addition to the acoustic solutions, the scope of works also included significant quantities of JB WOOD CLAUSTRA, approximately 400 JB QBE units, JB WINDOW and JB DOOR elements, gypsum board partitions, and no less than 18,500 m² of flooring.
Painting works, electrical installations, HVAC and other total fit-out activities were also fully integrated into the project.
